Emanuele Pizzolorusso es un diseñador industrial italiano que fundó su propio estudio en 2010 en la ciudad de Helsinki. Ha colaborado con clientes internacionales y su trabajo ha sido reconocido con premios como; German Design Award 2015, Design Plus 2012 and the ADI Compasso d’Oro 2016. Su trabajo se centra en el diseño conceptual e industrial.
Phil the bottle es una de sus creaciones para la empresa Palomar, se trata de una botella de plástico rectangular de medio litro pensada para llevar en un maletín como si fuera un libro. La finalidad es evitar que la gente consuma agua embotellada, que genera un montón de residuos y favorecer el uso de las fuentes públicas, que cuentan con un agua de gran calidad y muy controlada.
Existen 23 modelos de grandes ciudades como Barcelona, Tokio, Paris, Cophenague, Milán, Madrid...cada una de ellas lleva impreso un listado de las fuentes públicas de la ciudad donde puede rellenarse y su ubicación.
