Alioli es ajonesa y así, como bien explica el nombre, es como se conoce en Málaga a la mayonesa con ajo. Justo esa esencia o localismo malagueño es lo que buscan mostrar con este proyecto, Juan Martín y Roberto Espartero, dos diseñadores gráficos, que documentan parte visual del diseño, la tipografía y los rótulos tradicionales de Málaga que forman parte de la identidad visual de la ciudad y que poco a poco desaparecen para dar lugar a una nueva franquicia...
Tal y como explican Juan y Roberto; "La historia de la ciudad nos reclama a gritos desde sus fachadas. Alioliesajonesa es una aventura cultural que surgió a raíz de la inquietud y las ganas de recopilar rótulos, esos grafismos asociados a la actividad comercial que son mucho más que meras palabras colgantes".
En su página web, encontramos un mapa que geolocaliza todos los puntos donde se sitúan (o situaban) alguno de éstos rótulos curiosos.

Lo que surgió como un proyecto de recopilación de rótulos artesano y tipografía local, acabó derivando en lo que podríamos llamar Alfabeto Malagueño, donde cada letra utilizaba la tipografía de un comercio clásico o representativo de la ciudad, al que siguió una segunda versión mucho más elaborada que prepararon para el 36 Days of type, iniciativa anual que invita a diseñadores de todo el mundo a dar su visión del alfabeto latino, podéis verlo completo en su cuenta de instagram.
